Faces of the God Activity Book
THIS LISTING IS FOR A ~PDF~ DOWLOAD. If you want a physical, paper copy of this activity book, you can find it on Amazon. Just search for "Mother Hopkins Activity Books."
From one of the activities:
"Pagans are usually polytheists, which means that they honor more than one Deity. Some believe in one God and one Goddess. Others believe in many Gods and Goddesses.
"Some of us say that all of the Gods who ever existed are “faces” of a single God. He shows us the face that he wants us to see when we are ready."
This activity book introduces some of the Faces of the God -- both as big archetypes (Warrior Gods, Heroic Sons, Craftsman Gods, Wisdom Gods, etc.) and also as individuals (Shango, Prometheus, Arthur, Zeus).
There is lots of room for adults and kids to do extra investigation on topics of interest, activities that are approachable to both younger and older learners, additional activity ideas, and resources lists for both children and teens.
About Mother Hopkins' Activity Books for Pagan Kids:
Mother Hopkins offers this series of activity books for Pagan kids of all ages. Each book is filled with coloring pages, stories, reader response activities, puzzles, crafts, trivia, additional resources, and more. "Mother" Georgia Hopkins is a Pagan mom of now-adult kids who is both a former home educator, as well as a former public school teacher. She combines her knowledge of curriculum design, differentiation, and learning styles with a passion for both teaching and learning -- and a deep love and knowledge of the Paganism that has shaped her entire adult life. These books are meant to be a resource for families who might have children of different ages, and therefore need different teaching strategies and activities related to the same topic. As such, they can also provide learning opportunities for the same child as they re-approach a topic at different stages in their own development. They are offered with love to the Pagan adults who wish to share their religious and spiritual practices with the children in their care, and also to the kids who are thirsty to learn more about the cycles, symbols, and spirits that surround us all.
